Why Pray?
From as early as my early twenties, I have been praying for my children. It may sound weird but all of my children have been prayed for before even one of them was conceived in my womb! I am now seeing the answer to some of my prayers.

As women, I believe there is power when we (and men) pray over the destiny of our children. The words we have can either build or destroy them - they have LIFE!

If this is so, how much more power will be available to us when we come to the One who gives us life, our heavenly Father, with heart-felt prayers for our children.

The chaos in the world we are living in requires a certain level of discernment for our children.

How can we navigate through the array of dilemmas in a world of unpredictable occurrences? The answer, I believe, is prayer.

Let's start with the Lord's Prayer:

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass
against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever.

Amen
